1. Introduction

Welcome to Cutiora ("we", "our", or "us"). Cutiora is a free online photo editor. You can use our website and tools without creating an account or signing up. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use Cutiora, how we use and protect that information, and the choices available to you. By using Cutiora, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to use Cutiora's tools. Depending on how you use the website, certain information may be processed as described below:

• Images you upload: Images are processed entirely in your browser and are not sent to our servers. The exception is when you use the Share to Pinterest feature. In that case, your image is temporarily uploaded to Cloudinary solely to create a shareable link and is intended to be deleted automatically afterward.
• Stickers you save on your device: If you use "Add to my stickers" in Sticker Maker, the finished sticker is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device (up to 30 stickers) so you can reuse it in our photo editor and Photo Booth. It is not sent to our servers or any third party, and we cannot see or recover it. It is removed if you delete it or clear your browser's site data.
• Background-removal files: When you choose "Remove background" in Sticker Maker, your browser downloads a small set of files (about 15 MB) from Cutiora's own domain and then runs the cut-out on your device. Your photo is not uploaded for this. Like any file request, the download may appear in standard hosting logs (for example IP address and time).

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Cutiora, such as which pages they visit, how long they stay, their general location, and device type. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. We do not intentionally send personally identifiable information to Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We also use Pinterest domain verification to verify ownership of our website. This verification does not involve us collecting or storing personal information from you.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate site performance and traffic, such as page load times and visit counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information to track visitors across websites.

4. Advertising & Third-Party Ad Networks

Cutiora may display advertisements through a third-party ad management network or ad network partner (for example, Google AdSense or Mediavine's Journey program). When advertising is active, that partner and its own advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to help serve ads based on your visits to Cutiora and other websites. Depending on your consent and settings, these technologies may be used to provide personalized or non-personalized advertising.

If Cutiora is using Google AdSense, you can manage your Google advertising preferences through Google's Ads Settings. You may also manage certain third-party advertising preferences through aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

If Cutiora displays personalized advertising to visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, we will ask for consent before using non-essential advertising cookies for that purpose, using a Consent Management Platform (CMP) provided by our active advertising partner (for example, Google's own CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, or an equivalent CMP required by Mediavine/Journey), as required by that partner's policies.

5. Third-Party Services

Cutiora uses certain third-party services to help operate, analyze, and improve the website. These services may process information as described in their respective privacy policies:

• Google Analytics — helps us understand how visitors use Cutiora and provides usage and technical information about website activity. Google Privacy Policy

• Cloudinary — temporarily stores your image when you use the Share to Pinterest feature to generate a shareable link. The image is intended to be deleted automatically after it is no longer needed. Cloudinary Privacy Policy

• Cloudflare — provides hosting, security, and privacy-focused Web Analytics for Cutiora, which measures aggregate site traffic and performance without cookies. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles information.

6. Data Retention

We do not store your uploaded images on our own servers. Images processed directly in your browser remain on your device unless you use a feature that specifically requires temporary upload to a third-party service, such as Share to Pinterest.

Stickers saved with "Add to my stickers" stay in your browser until you delete them or clear your browser's site data. We do not keep a copy.

Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to the retention settings configured for our property. Google Analytics allows user-level and event-level data retention periods of 2 or 14 months for standard properties.

Information submitted through our contact form is processed and stored by Formspree according to their applicable retention policies and the plan associated with our account.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of information we hold about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent for certain cookies or personalized advertising, where applicable, using the available privacy or opt-out options described above.

Because Cutiora collects and stores only limited information directly, many privacy requests can be handled by contacting us. Some information may be processed or retained by third-party services we use, such as Google Analytics, our advertising partner (e.g. Google AdSense or Mediavine), Cloudinary, or Formspree, and may be subject to their respective privacy policies and procedures.

Depending on your location, additional rights may apply under laws such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, the CCPA/CPRA in California, or other applicable privacy laws.

8. Children's Privacy

Cutiora is not directed at children under 13. It's designed to be a simple, accessible photo editing website for a broad general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly use personal information to provide personalized advertising to children under 13.

Because Cutiora does not require users to create an account or provide personal information to use its core tools, we collect very limited information directly from users. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review the information and take appropriate steps to delete it where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Cutiora, our services, or applicable privacy requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we handle information.
